The Creator commands respect, but he does not scare us. On the contrary. Just as he can experience us in Wolfgang Nagel's Cologne text, we can trust him. Not because he is so powerful, but because he feels so human, in a human way. The Lord too gets tired.. In domestic language sound, our relationship to God experiences an immediacy that becomes commonplace in the best sense of the word. In composition, this message is borne by the technical simplicity of the vocal leading solo instrument.
