There are possibilities for performance in the open, because a soloist in the Corona Pandemic, with this sequence of works, has an ideal opportunity to perform at many different locations and to inspire an audience with his specific repertoire.
This special recital-note series wants to give the musicians and their listeners a first impression of their inexhaustible repertoire in a light and relaxed form with the grandmasters Johann Sebastian Bach (ISMN M-2054-2424-4) among others. The so-called "Serious Music" served in its time for well-kept entertainment and carries this entertainment value undisturbed into our time. Whether played indoors for "Open Air" concerts or other lecture possibilities, the solo works convey joy and thus personal success through the performers!

Henry Purcell was the son of a member of the Chapel Royal, the singing band of King Charles II, built around 1660. He was trained as a choirboy of the same chapel by its leader Henry Cooke (1615-1672) and his successor Pelham Humfrey (1647-1674). After Humfrey's death, he continued his education with John Blow and Matthew Locke (1621/2).
The American musicologist and conductor Franklin B. Zimmerman has worked and published in the field of Baroque music, mainly through the composer Henry Purcell, who is regarded as one of the most important contributions to Purcell research. Each work in the directory has a Z number derived from its last name.

Zur Komposition
„Verdis Adagio - ein Originalwerk für Solotrompete, zwischen 1836 und 1839, bevor er ein berühmter Opernkomponist wurde, hatte der junge Verdi die bescheidene Position eines Maestro di Musica in seinem Geburtsort Busseto bei Parma. Später vernichtete er die Werke, die er für die Filarmonici di Busetto und für die Kirche komponiert hatte.
Eines dieser Werke, ein „Adaggio“ für Solotrompete und Orchester, überlebte zusammen mit einigen anderen Dokumenten im Haus von Verdis Schwiegervater Barezzi. 1999 erwarb Edward H. Tarr das Manuskript dieses bisher unbekannten Werkes, das stark an eine Opernkavatina erinnert. Es erklang  1999 zum ersten Mal in einem Konzert mit Duo TROMPETE UND ORGEL KÖLN und Edward H. Tarr als Solisten, der übergab das Konzert dem Duo Wolfgang G. Haas und Paul Wisskirchen.
Das Adagio ist sicher in der Entstehung, als instrumentales Zwischenspiel in einem Gottesdienst eingesetzt worden, wie es in Italien während des gesamten 19. Jahrhunderts  üblich  war.
In dieser Ausgabe wurde das wunderbare Frühwerk in einer Bearbeitung für Solo-Trompete vom Unterzeichnenden verfasst. Ein Werk im Todesjahr von Edward H. Tarr, Freund, Lehrer und geschätzten Kollegen, in guter Erinnerung.

Felix Argast comes from Switzerland, he was born in 1936 in Basel.
As an artist, he is a member of the Swiss Werkbund (SWB). As a designer, products designer, he has received many international awards and design awards.
His music studies, he graduated from the Music Academy in Basel. (Trumpet, piano, composition).
He spent several years in trumpeter Conservatory Orchestra, worked as a freelance musician in various symphony orchestras, and then went a rain solo career after. As leader of various choirs and instrumental ensembles he gained knowledge of his compositional work. He created an extensive oeuvre from practice for practice.
