The Creator commands respect, but he does not scare us. On the contrary. Just as he can experience us in Wolfgang Nagel's Cologne text, we can trust him. Not because he is so powerful, but because he feels so human, in a human way. The Lord too gets tired.. In domestic language sound, our relationship to God experiences an immediacy that becomes commonplace in the best sense of the word. In composition, this message is borne by the technical simplicity of the vocal leading solo instrument.
Wolfgang G. Haas even offers the instrumental variant of understanding the primal scene on an out-of-wood tree trunk - an alphorn.

The creation
A prehistoric image, which has moved humanity again and again, gets here an archaic voice through the instruments Alphorn and organ.
The Old Testament begins with the book of Genesis, with the creation of the world in seven days.

Die zahlreichen Loblieder auf Köln, in kölscher Sprache, besingen nur rudimentär (Dom, Glocken...). Die wahre Bedeutung unserer Stadt, die sich aus ihrer christlichen Geschichte ableitet. „Kölle, de hellige Stadt“ soll hier eine Lücke schließen und ist damit geeignet, in den zahlreichen Mundartgottesdiensten ein wertvoller Programmbeitrag zu sein.

Johannes Sutor (* 1939) has been working for more than 50 years with the organ music. He learned to play the organ at his teachers Fuhrmann, Hogen Schurz and Wolfram Gehring. He received instruction in harmony and composition with Prof. Herrmann Schroeder. In addition to the regular organ he accompanies various choirs among others on their trips abroad (eg, 2010 in Paris - Madeleine and St. Sulpice).
Over the years, a greater amount of compositions for the organ and other instruments have emerged which at the publishers Anton Böhm & Sohn, Augsburg, P. J. Tonger, Cologne, and Wolfgang G. Haas Musikverlag Köln e. K., have appeared. A special focus is on the serene Organ Music. Most pieces of Sutor are mild to moderate playable and therefore suitable for part-time organist. They can be well interpreted on an organ with only two manuals usually.
