The collection of Spanish songs and dances compiled by Lattes represents the different Spanish landscapes, and fortunately away from well-known flamenco clichés. These pieces (easy to intermediate level) are an enrichment for the classroom.
For the accompanying guitarist, position playing is assumed, barré fingerings only appear in a few pieces. Short notes on the texts of the original songs and the character traits of the dances make it easier to get started with Spanish folk music.
