Both solo voices are set equivalent and can be blown onto the B-flat trumpet. The range ends with one exception, the two-lined B. Despite the name "Brillante" No special virtuoso skills needed to cope with the piece. This late romantic, impressionistic Scherzo will leave a good impression on listeners and performers.
