Die drei Musiker Heinz Kraschl, Wolfgang G. Haas und Juan Rodríguez Romero kannten sich von vielfältigen Begegnungen bereits seit den 1980er Jahren.

ÁLVARO ARRANS, viola

was born in Seville and began his musical studies in his home city with Pedro León and Fernando España as a violin and viola teacher respectively.
He was viola soloist in the Asturias Symphony Orchestra and the Manuel de Falla Orchestra and assistant soloist in the Madrid Community Orchestra. In 1986 he received the End of Degree Honour Award from the Seville Superior Conservatory of Music. He deepened his musical studies with Françoise Gneri, Teresse Marie Gilissen, Wolfram Christ, Dionisio Rodríguez, Daniel Benyamini and Juan Sanabras. In 1990 he was unanimously awarded the first prize of the National Conservatory of Rueil-Malmasion
(France). Winner of the Pozoblanco International Chamber Music Competition. Invited as viola teacher by the Andalusian Youth Orchestra. He has premiered the Fantasia for viola and piano by José Zárate (Ateneo de Sevilla Award). He has made many recordings for Radio National Espana.
He has recorded the complete collection of Max Reger's viola suites for the label ‘Reserved Sounds’. He is currently a professor at the Cristóbal de Morales Conservatory in Seville, an activity that he combines with his concert activities.

Wolfgang G. Haas, trumpets

He is a founding member of the international ADE-TRIO, which has existed since 2011.  The D stands for the trumpeter's origins. Wolfgang G. Haas was born in Cologne.
After playing in the philharmonic orchestra in the Rhineland, he worked as a teacher for historical and modern trumpet and directed chamber music ensembles and a symphonic orchestra in Cologne and gave trumpet courses for the Jeunesses Musicales. He is a juror at international trumpet competitions, gives international masterclasses and lectures on the development of trumpet instruments.
He gives concerts as a trumpet soloist and with musician friends and is a researcher specialising in the music of the 17th/18th century in Europe. Compositions of works found in European libraries have been recorded on CDs and other media.
In Argentina (Buenos Aires), he is co-organiser of the ASE project, helping to develop a symphonic orchestra with children from precarious social backgrounds in the suburbs.
In 2017, he was admitted to the Royal Society of Arts in Seville (Spain) Real Academia de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungría.
Since 1985, he has been the director of Wolfgang G. Haas-Musikverlag Köln e. K., whose activities include the publication of sheet music editions of compositions from the Renaissance to contemporary music, the specialised book series ‘Kölner Musikbeiträge’ and ‘Cologne Music Series’, the CD label ‘HaasClassicCologne’ and the Köln

Juan Rodríguez Romero, Cembalo

Juan Rodríguez Romero, harpsichord
Born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Spain. As a conductor, pianist and composer, he is a professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música ‘Manuel Castillo’ in Seville.
He is a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts ‘Santa Isabel de Hungria’ in Seville and Correspondiente of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, San Fernando, Madrid.
Awards: ‘Premio Nacional de Composición “Manuel de Falla” and “Premio de Turismo” and Gold Medal (Sanlúcar de Barrameda). He is the patron of the ‘Teatro Municipal Juan Rodríguez-Romero’ in Dos Hermanas (Seville)
He is a jury member and director of the international music festival ‘A Orillas del Guadalquivir de Sanlúcar de Barrameda’ (Cádiz), the international clarinet competition ‘Ciudad de Dos Hermanas’ and the international trumpet competition ‘Calviá-Mallorca’. He is permanent director of the orchestra ‘Musiziergemeinschaft Mozarteum’ in Salzburg and the ‘Camerata Austriaca Linz’.
His complete compositional oeuvre has been published by Wolfgang G. Haas-Musikverlag Köln e. K. His works have been recorded in productions on CD, radio and television, including with orchestras from Hamburg, Berlin, Salzburg, London, Brussels, Prague and Budapest.
He is a founding member of the international ADE-TRIO, which has existed since 2011.
