Bartolomeo Bismantova (1675- 1694) - Preludio per il Cornetto Michael Collver, cornetto The Encyclopédie Méthodique of 1782 defines a zoo as a "luxurious establishment of curiosities.” Come with us as we stroll among them! This is the Cornetto which looks like a twisted horn - made of wood and covered in leather to seal the joinery needed to curve it so the player’s fingers can reach the holes. It is played with a small “acorn “ mouthpiece with an embouchure like a trumpet.
